Submitted for the Scream Forever June 2025 Game Jam

The concept of this level was to be a Call of Duty: Zombies type level using Boomer shooter movement and combat against waves of the shown monster. The theme of the Game Jam was "OVER AND OVER AGAIN", which we planned on capturing with the lore of the game being a Clergy man stuck in a ruined hellish Victorian manor, he is unable to escape from and forced to face endless waves of Monsters from hell. Forced to re-live this torture over and over again, even after being defeated. He will awaken at the beginning.

Apart from the shown enemy and the FPS controller, everything shown in the video is of my own creation. I did not create the assets shown, but Level designed and environmentally dressed the entire level shown.

We achieved a "PSX" visual style by Decimating and lowering the resolution of textures and view of the camera. Aiming to achieve a eerie, creepy PS1 PS2 era vibe.

While I did not create the FPS controller I did modify and game design the specifics of how it functioned. increasing the "walk speed" to 10 in order to achieve the Faster paced boomer shooter feel. Opting to use a Shift activated "Run" speed of 6 which actually slows the player down. Using the shift key more as a "Hand break" in order to assist them in moving around corners and making it through doorways to decrease the likely hood of getting stuck trying to get through a doorway.
