
Operation: Renfield
Submitted for the 4th PizzaDoggy Game Jam


We came 1st out of around 100 entries.
This game, having been created for the 2-week-long "Pizza Doggy game jam number 4" was an "Aggressive" stealth shooter. The main idea behind this was a melding of titles like Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid mixed with something like Hotline Miami.
The theme of the Game Jam was "Erosion", which we planned on capturing with the main mechanic in the game being the "Blood". This meant that the player would constantly be losing "Blood meter", and the only way they could refill it would be by killing enemies within the level. Meaning the player would need to be sneaky but still be forced to move at a faster pace to ensure they're maintaining their blood meter.

Apart from the audio design, Scripting of enemies and animations. everything shown in the video is of my own creation. I did not create the assets shown, but Level design / environment dressing and lighting is all of my own creation.​

While not scripting or developing the mechanics in the game. I was acting lead designer and informing the tuning of game design mechanics and making sure they service the overall vision.
